Vantage Speech is a licensed speech-language therapy company located in Moncks Corner & Summerville, South Carolina. We provide in-clinic and home-based comprehensive speech and language evaluations, therapy, and consultations. Vantage Speech was founded to provide in-depth personalized services while building quality relationships with clients and their families. Services are throughout the greater area of Charleston, which includes Berkeley, Dorchester, and Charleston counties.

Guy Vinette, M.A., CCC-SLP
Owner
As an American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) certified speech therapist, Guy Vinette, M.A. CCC-SLP opened Vantage Speech & Language with the vision of providing the best evidence-based practice to maximize growth and development. Mr. Vinette graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo and holds a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology. He has years of experience working with children and adults in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and school settings, providing services with needs ranging from mild to severe language and communication impairments. Through a caring and innovative speech therapy approach, it is his goal to maximize each individual’s potential. This is accomplished by focusing on individual needs while including family and loved ones in the therapeutic process through training and education. Guy's areas of expertise include non-verbal and verbal communicators in the areas of augmentative & alternative communication (AAC) and developmental and acquired language disorders. He is trained to perform PROMPT therapy. He demonstrates years of experience working with fluency, articulation and social pragmatic skills. Guy is constantly evolving his approach to ensure that treatment options are in the best interest for all clients. Guy currently lives in Summerville with his wife, son, daughter, and golden retriever. He moved from Niagara Falls, NY in 2015 and continues to love playing hockey, golf, and hiking in his spare time.
Lindsey Woodruff, M.S., CCC-SLP
Assistant Director
Lindsey Woodruff, M.S. CCC-SLP, is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist and has a passion for specializing in children with cognitive, fluency, and speech sound disorders. She is trained to perform PROMPT therapy. Lindsey holds a Bachelor’s degree in speech pathology and audiology with a minor in child development. Lindsey earned her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from West Virginia University. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and has obtained the certificate of clinical competence in the field of speech language pathology. Lindsey currently lives in Charleston and enjoys going to the beach, hiking, boating, and spending time with her husband, Mark and dog, Turbo.
Brielyn O'Leary, M.S., CCC-SLP
Lead Speech Pathologist
Brielyn O’Leary, MS, CCC-SLP is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with experience in public schools, natural environments and private practice settings. Brielyn earned a Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in Psychology, and a Master's plus 30 in speech-language pathology from Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and has obtained the certificate of clinical competence in the field of speech-language pathology. Brielyn has taken additional graduate courses with a focus on Trauma Sensitive Interventions and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She received specialized training and experience under the supervision of an Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC) Specialist within the public school systems. Brielyn recently moved to Charleston from Boston, Massachusetts. When she is not working, she loves exploring her new home by trying out new restaurants and spending time at the beach!
Gracie Aprahamian, MOT, OTR/L
Lead Occupational Therapist
Gracie received her Bachelors of Health Sciences and Masters of Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University. She loves to work with the whole family, while collaborating with other practitioners. Gracie enjoys working with children on the Autism spectrum and children experiencing developmental delays, and/or sensory differences. Gracie is a DIR Floortime provider and is trained in the SOS approach to feeding. She has extensive experience providing occupational therapy services in a sensory clinic. Gracie grew up in New York and recently moved from North Carolina. She loves to spend time with her husband, son, and two chocolate labs. Gracie enjoys cooking/baking and taking fitness classes.
Brenda Gallo
Office Manager/Referral Coordinator
Brenda lives in Summerville with her husband Sal. They relocated from Niagara Falls several years ago to be closer to family. Brenda has 30+ years of financial and business management. She worked as office manager for several different organizations over her career. Her most recent was with FedEx Trade Networks until her move to SC. She also served as VP of Finance for the International Institute of Business Analysts , Buffalo chapter. In her spare time she enjoys visiting different wineries, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Ella Ratliff, M.S., CCC-SLP
Ella Ahrens, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona’s Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences graduate program She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina, with a major in Experimental Psychology and a minor in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Ella has a passion for working with children and has previous experience working in the school setting and various pediatric private practices. Ella is excited to be living back in South Carolina again. She is looking forward to exploring all that Charleston has to offer, including the beach and great food.
Jessie Kifer, M.A., CCC-SLP
Jessie Kifer, M.A. CCC-SLP, is a licensed and certified speech language pathologist. She is certified in vital stim and has years of experience working with adults in rehabilitation facilities, home health setting, and assisted living facilities focusing on disorders in swallowing, speech and language, voice, and cognitive communication. Jessie is eager and excited to transition her skills to help with the pediatric population. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in speech pathology and audiology from Ohio State University. Jessie earned her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Akron. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and has obtained the certificate of clinical competence in the field of Speech-Language Pathology. Jessie lives in Summerville with her husband, son, and dog. She enjoys traveling, yoga, and cheering on the Buckeyes.
Ashlyn Farwell, M.S., CCC-SLP
A graduate of Samford University Speech-Language Pathology graduate program. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Southern Mississippi. Ashlyn has a passion for working with individuals to help them "find their voice" by empowering them in therapy. She believes building a relationship with her clients is a key factor in therapy, but also enjoys getting to know the families of her clients as well because they are an important member of the team as well. Ashlyn has experience providing therapy to those in the school-setting, patients residing in the skilled nursing facility, the in-patient and out-patient hospital setting as well as Samford University's summer clinic opportunities for children and adults. Ashlyn is originally from Charleston and is happy to be back near family. She is also looking forward to growing her community of friendships and exploring more of the city. In her free time she enjoys watching movies, baking, shopping, and spending quality time with her family and cat, Roy.
Amanda Keen, MCD., CCC-SLP
Amanda “Mandy” Keen, MCD, CCC-SLP, is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist having 23+ years of experience in the combined settings of public school, pediatric rehab, private practice, and natural environments. She is trained and versed in Natural Language Acquisition and Gestalt Language Processing. She is listed on Marge Blanc’s Communication Development Center’s NLA SLP Registry as well as Meaningful Speech’s NLA Trained Clinician Registry. Mandy was born, raised, and proudly lives in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. She is passionate about improving communication in the lives of children and their families by providing face-to-face and telehealth services. Mandy gained her Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Columbia College and a Master’s+30 degree in Communication Disorders from the University of South Carolina. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and has obtained the certificate of clinical competence in the field of speech-language pathology. Mandy enjoys spending time with her husband, Jay, their two children Kelcey and Collin, and her extended family.
Sophia Uhlarik, M.S., CCC-SLP
Sophia Uhlarik, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Marquette University. Sophia then went on to graduate from University of New Hampshire’s Communication Sciences and Disorders Master’s program. She has experience in early childhood/elementary schools and enjoys working within the pediatric population. Sophia recently moved from Massachusetts to Charleston and is excited to explore a new area of the east coast. In her free time she enjoys being outside, spending time with friends, and trying new restaurants!
Sarah Kirby, MCD., CCC SLP
A licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology from Columbia College and a Master’s plus 30 degree in Communication Disorders from the University of South Carolina. She has obtained her Certificate of Clinical Competency and is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Sarah has experience working in the school, clinic and natural environments. Sarah is a proud wife to her husband and their five children. She is a Berkeley county native and enjoys all that the Lowcountry has to offer. She believes it is a beautiful place full of special people, and is the perfect place to raise their family.
Emily Puckett, M.S., CCC-SLP
A graduate of University of South Carolina. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from College of Charleston. Emily previously taught students with mild intellectual disabilities before discovering her passion of speech, language, and communication. She enjoys working with the pediatric population and has experience in the school and private practice settings. In her free time, Emily enjoys reading, watching football, going on walks, and trying new restaurants with her fiancé.
Madelyn Graham, M.A, CF-SLP
Madelyn, M.A., CF-SLP, is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Duluth, where she completed both her undergraduate and graduate programs. She is currently in her clinical fellowship year. Madelyn’s primary goal when working with individuals is to help them reach their communicative potential and provide individualized, interest-based tools to guide them even further. She has experience working across the lifespan in various settings, including outpatient services, intensive inpatient rehabilitation, and at the elementary school level. Madelyn is particularly excited to work with children, as she enjoys watching them become their own communicators and they love to have fun (of course). She believes that the involvement of parents and guardians is integral to success both in and outside of therapy. Madelyn grew up in the Midwest, where she spent her time between Wisconsin and Minnesota. She recently moved to Summerville with her fiancé. Madelyn enjoys searching for sea glass, trying new restaurants, listening to podcasts, and spending time with family and friends.
Christina Piera M.S, CF-SLP
Christina, M.S., CF-SLP, is a graduate of Syracuse University, where she completed both her undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as a minor in Psychology. She is currently in her clinical fellowship year. Christina has a passion for working with children. She loves watching them grow and express themselves! Her mission when working with individuals is to help them functionally communicate and feel confident in doing so through therapy. She has experience working in various settings, including private practice, outpatient rehabilitation, and at the preschool level. Christina emphasizes that, "Parents are the experts on their children". Strong family connections and working together are key to helping little learners thrive in therapy. Christina grew up in Annapolis, Maryland, where her love of the water was born. She enjoys swimming, kayaking, and most water activities. She also enjoys trying new recipes and spending time with friends and family.
Brittany Wodek M.S, CCC-SLP
Brittany Wodek, M.S. CCC-SLP, is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with experience working in a variety of settings including rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, natural environments and private practice settings. Brittany holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. Brittany earned her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Midwestern University. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and has obtained the certificate of clinical competence in the field of speech language pathology. Brittany currently lives in Summerville and enjoys traveling, yoga, and spending time with her family.
Brooke Dooley M.S, CF-SLP
Brooke, M.S. CF-SLP, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Middle Tennessee State University and went on to complete her Master’s degree at the Medical University of South Carolina. Currently in her clinical fellowship year, she has experience in public schools, early intervention, and inpatient rehabilitation settings. Brooke is passionate about empowering children to become confident and functional communicators. She aims to create a supportive and motivating environment for her clients and believes that therapy should be engaging and enjoyable while focusing on each child’s unique strengths. She recently moved to Charleston from Murfreesboro, Tennessee. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her friends, family, and her cat, Leo.
Emma Tracy M.S, CF-SLP
Emma Tracy, M.S CF-SLP is speech-language pathologist who graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University in 2022, with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Speech, Language, & Hearing Science and a minor in Psychology. She then went on to attend the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, graduating with a Master of Science (M.S.) in Speech-Language Pathology. Emma was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She was originally called to the field of Speech-Language Pathology through her own life experience of growing up with a mathematical learning disability, the almost exact converse of a language disorder. She subsequently spent part of her early childhood attending an elementary school that specialized in treating children with a diverse array of learning disabilities, speech/language disorders, and hearing impairments. From an extremely young age, Emma was exposed to the incredible nuances of communication and the beauty of neurodiversity, instilling in her an unparalleled passion to advocate for her patients and support them through their therapeutic journeys. Emma has robust clinical experience in both inpatient (neuro ICU) and outpatient rehabilitation settings, serving a wide variety of medically-complex pediatric and adult patients. She has particular clinical interests in early language development and neurogenic language and cognitive disorders. She is also a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and enjoys diagnosing and treating pediatric feeding/swallowing disorders. In her free time, Emma loves reading, spending time with her family, and cheering on the Auburn Tigers. She recently adopted a cat named Ollie, who loves getting into mischief.
